The Hokey Office Workout

 This is the poem that got me in trouble in the International operations department of a bank I used to work for.  I remember sitting there with my manager and the HR lady asked me..."Do you find this funny?"  And I said "Yes".  LOL.

To the theme of the “Hokey Pokey !”

 

You put your white copy here

You put your yellow there

You put your pink in the trash

And you staple here and there

You do the office workout and

You’re still not done…

That’s what it’s all about

 

You put your cover letter here

And you put your draft behind

You put your invoice in

Then ship doc’s next in line

You do the office workout and

You’ve only just begun…

That’s what it’s all about !

 

You check your expiry date

You check your shipping date

You check your cover letter date

And you notice something’s late

You do your office workout

And there’s more to check…

That’s what it’s all about!

Your staples are out

And your back is sore

You feel the need to work out

And you can’t take anymore

You’ve done the office workout

Now it’s time to go home…
